How do I find my niche?

niche May 07, 2024

You’ve probably heard it before…you have to “niche down”.

You might have tried Alex Hormozi’s 4 layer niching down technique.

You might have thought about picking what would be the most profitable.

You might have thought about picking a niche based on the industry you have the most experience in.

Or maybe even just picking “moms” because you’re a mom….

It all feels so limiting to you. You don’t want to box yourself in.

Something doesn’t feel right and you don’t know why, but it just feels OFF.

The thing is niching down shouldn’t feel limiting. The reason it feels limiting is because it isn’t RIGHT for you.

All of that “niching” advice is CRAP. You don’t need to niche down based on those qualities.

You want to call in CONSISTENT DREAM CLIENTS, and my clients and I have been able to by using my signature emotion & value-based niching method.

Niching down based on who someone is, rather than WHAT they do is exactly what is going to call in those DREAM CLIENTS CONSISTENTLY.

If you pick what's most profitable or what you have the most experience in, you might end up working with people you hate, which is going to sabotage your business before it even gets off the ground. If no part of you wants to show up and serve those people, you're not going to want to show up in your business at all. Business is ultimately about service & connection, so choose people you want to connect to, people you want to serve, people you LIKE and would be your friends in real life.

There are so many examples of people working with icky, awful clients and a range of personalities by setting their sites on a specific industry or field, BUT value-based niching calls in the EXACT people that you vibe with, there won’t be disagreements because you see eye to eye on a fundamental level.

This is how you work with people that are dreamy, like “wow, you want to work with me?” type clients.

If you’re curious about how to niche down using this method, send me a DM on Instagram @coaching.by.natalie or an email to [email protected] with the subject line “NICHE”.
